Following your appointment

Your treatment-specific advice comes first.

The information below is general guidance only. Your practitioner will provide aftercare tailored to the treatment performed, the product used and your individual circumstances.

If you are concerned about anything following treatment, contact Zoe’s Retreat as soon as reasonably possible. For a medical emergency, call 999.

Anti-wrinkle treatments

Follow the personalised instructions provided by your practitioner.
Avoid rubbing, pressing or massaging the treated area unless specifically advised.
Temporary redness, tenderness, swelling or bruising can occur around injection sites.
Contact Zoe’s Retreat promptly if you experience an unexpected or worsening reaction.

Dermal fillers

Do not press or massage the treated area unless your practitioner instructs you to do so.
Some tenderness, swelling or bruising is common and should be monitored as it settles.
Follow the specific guidance given about makeup, exercise, alcohol, heat and skincare.
Seek urgent advice for severe or increasing pain, pale or mottled skin, unusual coolness or any visual disturbance.

Microneedling

Treat the skin gently and use only the products recommended by your practitioner.
Temporary redness, warmth, tightness or sensitivity may occur after treatment.
Avoid active skincare, exfoliation, heat, swimming and makeup for the period advised.
Use sun protection as directed and contact the team if you notice signs of infection or an unexpected reaction.

Contact the team promptly if symptoms are unexpected, severe, worsening or different from the aftercare explained to you. In an emergency—including breathing difficulty, a serious allergic reaction or sudden visual symptoms—call 999.
